Dada: Fragments & Rebelliousness

Dada: Fragments & Rebelliousness
A self-publish zine about Dada - an art movement in the history. The zine mostly discusses about the key figure Raoul Hausmann, one of the leader of that era. Images in the publication are either physically or digitally collaged.
Dada was an art movement formed during the First World War in Zurich in negative reaction to the horrors and folly of the war. The art, poetry and performance produced by dada artists is often satirical and nonsensical in nature. In addition to being anti-war, dada was also anti-bourgeois and had political affinities with the radical left. Dada pieces of artwork and artists are very extraordinary and rebellious.
Raoul Hausmann (1886 - 1971) was an Austrian artist, and also a founder member of the Berlin Dada group. He was mostly known for his satirical “photomontages” - the practice of juxtaposing and superimposing images, illustration and text from mass media sources, and his provocative writing on art pieces.
