Silent movies have been normalizing abuse of women for almost 100 years. Luckily, on Januray 1st 2019, some of them lost their rights and became public domain. 7 victims of domestic violence in Romania had a safe space to tell their own stories and were finally able to give their voice to abused characters and finally break the silence.
