Winetage Investments
Identity design for a company that invests in wine stock.
Meenu and Amit Kohli, wine-lovers and born-entrepreneurs, set out on a journey to create a company that will invest the money of their client-investors in wine stock — the produce of some of the most cultured French vineyards. My task was to come up with a graphic identity that carried the dignity and elegance of a classic wine label and yet be one that spoke simply to the mind of an investor who was there to get maximum value for his buck.

Amit thought-up the line DIVERSIFY TO SOLIDIFY. That triggered the idea of the company initial 'W' crafted out of two wine chalices. Together they symbolise the core proposition of asking the invetor to look to wine as an alternate investment, since wine-stock would rarely be a primary investment.
