The Singapore National Shooting Championships is a quarterly competition for sports shooting. The results of
this competition will be used to select shooters for the nation's National Team and Youth Team.
Apart from being a symbol of Singapore, the Lion represents strength and it is the ‘King of all Beast’ - a champion. These traits are ideal for this shooting competition. The target ring is suggested through the roundness of the lion's mane. Being a national competition, red (Singapore's national colour) is used for the graphics.
