Illustration Modification

About 42 years ago, I painted this product still life by hand with watercolor gouache, but with a plain white background. I even used a printer's "Linen Tester" (a small, but powerful magnifier on a inch or inch-and-a-half high stand) to paint the condensation droplets on the outside of the glass.

I recently created a new, digital background in Photoshop. I think it makes it POP!
