Kungarna is an Overwatch team that competed in Overwatch Contenders North America 2018 Season 3 as an unsigned team. Kungarna's players originally were a part of Phase 2, another Overwatch team, and transferred to Kungarna. I designed for Phase 2, so when the team transferred I continued making graphics under the new brand. With them re-branding, it gave me the opportunity to redesign their logo, and revitalize the organization.
My goal with this new branding was to create something unlike any other Overwatch Contenders team. If people are attracted to the branding of Kungarna, chances are they will be inclined to follow the players on the team. I produced work with Kungarna from early November 2018 to the end of their season in late December of 2019.
