Nature is for me a source of unfinished inspiration and spiritual experiences. It is the stalking of her, observation allows us to "go to the world ahead". Millions of years of evolution have led to the development of mechanisms by which modern technologies are still a primitive creation. Inverted from nature, we have lost control over her. And only her watchful observation and mimicry will save the world.
Insects are the most important group of animals on earth. Recent research by scientists published by the journal Biological Conservation showed that the number of insects in the world is decreasing by 2.5% a year, which is 8 times faster than it is in the case of mammals, birds and reptiles. It is from insects that the life of many ecosystems depends, they are pollinators, they decompose dead organic matter, they are also a source of food for other animals.
I collect insects found on the windowsill and nooks of the house.I also find them dead in the forest, I paint and photograph them. My installation and photo cycle  "Insecta" is an affirmation of the natural world. The colors of the wings of many butterflies vary depending on the viewing angle. Researchers took ten years to create a simplified version of the butterfly wing surface. The knowledge they want to use, among others, to build more efficient solar collectors. It turns out that copying the structure of butterfly wings is not easy.
