36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to express their particular interpretation of the letters and numbers of our alphabet.
A 36 day open call of restless creativity, where participants are challenged to design a letter or number for each day, showing the outcome of the ability to represent the same symbols simultaneouly and from thousands different perspectives.
A project that aims to be a space for creation around typography and its endless graphic possibilities.

For the first time in my career as a graphic designer I decided to join this wonderful project which kicks your ass to create some great stuff, no excuses. With a slight feeling of self torturing I pushed myself to make it through all 36 letters and numbers. My aim was to enhance my skills in creating 3D compositions and animated loops and getting my hands on Cinema4D everyday, which was really fun and I learned a lot.
The project actually makes you think about your work and what you really want to do.
