Having a rush of awkward dreams and seeking to attach reality to them. What's know because seemingly forgotten, surfacing insecurities and fears. These images, taken around CDB of Johannesburg and outskirt, explore interrupted moments and Scenes much like deja Vu

I attended Yeoville Boys Primary School, a Jewish/Christian School in the Region F of Johannesburg. Only after one horrific day when the School bus, I spent my first night in the city by default waiting for a family member to fetch me.

After that incident I was fascinated by the city, I began to use all modes of public transportation taxi, train, bus and car.

At times up walking for transport from yeoville to the city, to save money with my friends. But all this wouldn't have mattered until I went to high school at Hoër School Die Adelaar.

Changing in the scenario's had a great impact on me as I had to adjust to a new environment. That's the first time I understood the importance of space.

Photography has enabled me to go back to these different & familiar spaces as an experimental apporach that mains to create a puzzle. Most of structure, built during colonial era, have now taken different meaning.

Raising key questions, this works reminds us of where we came from and how we reusing same space and status that represent oppression.

The freedom of speech, information and movement hasn't turly gave us independence from our past which affects the present
