MEXICAN ART AND CULTURE
For this year, I decided to make the challenge about Mexico. I wanted to discover and learn more about their art, their culture and their traditions, in order to capture their colors and textures in a detailed way. It is incredible the skill of Mexican artisans, their way of capturing their beliefs and traditions, the pieces they manage to create have a magnificent beauty, almost magical.
Discovering many toys have been lost or have been relieved to new technologies, but in some parts of Mexico they are still trying to keep that tradition alive.Ā Another problem is the import product from other countries, which has severely damaged Mexican artisans
I wanted to spread these beautiful crafts, toys and traditions so that the world knows a little more about Mexico.

Finishing the challenge was quite difficult, there were days that I could not move forward, but with effort and dedication I managed to finish it, and it was totally worth it.

Para este aƱo, decidĆ hacer el reto sobre MĆ©xico. QuerĆa descrubrir y conocer mĆ”s sobre su arte, su cultura y sus tradiciones, para asĆ poder plasmar sus colores y texturas de manera detallada. Es increĆble la habilidad de los y las artesanas mexicanas, su manera de plasmar sus creencias y tradiciones, las piezas que logran crear tienen una belleza magnĆfica, casi mĆ”gica.
A lo largo de mi bĆŗsqueda, descubrĆ que muchos juguetes se han perdido o han sido relevados por las nuevas tecnologĆas, pero en algunas partes de MĆ©xico se sigue intentando mantener viva esa tradiciĆ³n. Otra problema ha sido la importaciĆ³n desde otros paĆses, que han daƱado severamente a los artesanos mexicanos.

Terminar el reto fue bastante difĆcil, hubo dĆas que no lograba avanzar, pero con esfuerzo y dedicaciĆ³n logrĆ© terminarlo, y valiĆ³ totalmente la pena.
