Nike Equality Campaign - OH1O

Nike Equality campaign collaboration with Cleveland Cavaliers. The objective was to tailor the present cultural ideas and take the original Nike Equality campaign and target it to the local Ohio market on a grassroots level. The OH1O (Ohio 1) was created to represent equality and diversity of all races and genders to come together for a basketball tournament titled Common Courts throughout different cities in Ohio where the winners would be highlighted on Equality night at the Quicken Loans Arena.
The first O represents all walks of people coming together for the equal love of basketball. The H was converted as an equal sign to represent the LGBTQ community moving upwards. The I was converted as a 1 to represent all walks of life as united as 1. The last O represents the OH1O starting in Ohio and raising awareness across the world.

The campaign would be sponsored by Cleveland Cavalier and Nike athletes LeBron James and Kyrie Irving going to different assigned community centers in designated cities on the Ohio 1 Tour Bus to promote the tournament. The bus would feature interactive Nike ID LeBron and Kyrie shoes for consumers to design as well as video stations for people to record 15-second clips of what equality means to them that would be shown during timeouts of the equality night game. Fans using the hashtag #0H10 on social media would also have the chance to have their content featured on various screens throughout the Q. Fans attending Equality Night in the arena would also be awarded Nike shirts in their seats reading WE ARE EQUALITY and the shirts will stand on there own as Nike shirts. The winners of the Common Courts tournament would be highlighted in a special section in the Quicken Loans Arena and awarded personal OH1O shirts and Nike apparel.
