Spectre (2015)
Spectre is a conceptual thermometer inspired by the notion of entropy in thermodynamic and chronography, a method to capture subjects in motion. Spectre aims to illustrate different stages using a thermochromic paint that opacifies each petal once the shifting temperature has been reached. This thermometer uses a 5°c incrementation since the Montreal telt temperature is always biased by either the wind or the humidex factors; it is irrelevant to provide an accurate digital value to define a temperature that will be interpreted differently from a person to another one.

Project and pictures by Théo Chauvirey and Fayza Mazouz.
