Using Adobe XD CC, I was required to design an app for Syracuse University students. The app is used for Syracuse dorms. The purpose of the app is to lock and unlock dorms without having to use a key. There are also settings that allow a student to lock the door for a set amount of time, and unlock the door even when not in the vicinity of the dorm room. There is also a calendar included as a useful addition for students. In creating this app I learned how to use Adobe XD CC, and prototype and wireframe the app. I also learned how to build an algorithm, I had to think through the different steps of the app and what each button would do or lead to. I had to think about problem solving and the possible problems a person using the app could have and how the app could cater to those issues.
