I’ve felt a little lost lately. I originally began a different portrait but it just didn’t go anywhere so I gave up and started a new one. Half way through doubt crept in again and I nearly stopped working on this one too, but I persevered, determined not to let another painting become half finished.

It took longer than I would usually spend on a portrait but I’m happy with how this turned out, especially with of my momentary lack of confidence.
