Busy Brows Boutique Branding Strategy

Busy Brows is a branding project for a salon in southern California. I created a logo and color scheme to attract their target market and give them a high end salon identity to align with their location and ideal customers. The project began with a logo and unfolded into a long term project to achieve the goals of the owner with a new identity, website and product line.

I wanted to give the owner a feel for the style and setting of the brick and mortar aesthetics. With the front desk being a huge aspect of the brand identity and a key factor in client perception and outreach.

The 'website icons' display the thought and idealization behind the logo. The long stem of the "b" was curved to create a flow of an eyebrow with the base circle being the eye. I utilized the incorporation of an eye to create icons that easily identity the logo with the meaning. When I made the pen for promotional merchandise, I had the idea to create a makeup brush set that the owner could sell online and in-store. With daily requests for recommendations on brushes and questions about the brushes they use in-store, the owner was ecstatic to bring in another form of revenue aside from just services.
