By producing a visual narrative, the aim of this project was to provide answers to science-based questions from students in grades 5 and 6, at a Ugandan primary school. One of the questions posed was about blood circulation around the body and through the hear and what are the functions of Red Blood Cells and White Blood Cells. It was important that the publication relate to children aged 10 to 11 years but also relate to children from Africa. It had to be relevant to them and the information has ot be easy to absorb for people where English is a second language.
