This tease for The Walking Dead sets a bleak and ominous tone for the second half of Season Six. The world is blanketed in a thick, oppressive fog that threatens to overtake the cast at every turn. Dubbed “The Red Teaser” by rabid Internet fans, this piece helped AMC ratchet up excitement for the show’s Valentine’s day premier.
Most of the scenes were built from on-set production photos, which were rotoscoped, multi-planed, comped with custom smoke effects, and color corrected in After Effects.
