Cloud Light was designed after material investigations. 

The idea of this project is to think of ways and potentials of producing a product after knowing the characteristics of the materials.

This is a light made by felting wool. By the half transparency of the wool, lights come out perfectly which make the mateiral look like sun shining behind a piece of cloud. 

1.     Use LED light to prevent from the heat. It could be made into a hanging light or make a frame inside the       wool and a stand for it to set on the table.
2.     It’s easy to mix the wool together. So it could be made into various sizes.
3.     Lighting effect based on the amount of the wool and the curry pattern on the surface. Function:  night light.  
4.     The soft and furry material is easy to be shaped into different forms.
