THE GOAL: To create visually impactful ads targeting prospective music students.
THE CHALLENGE : We wanted to create the image using only practical set pieces and effects.
THE RESULT: I took the lead on creating this piece from the ground up — from concept to final execution. I started by making a digital mock-up of the final ad in Photoshop and worked to lead a team of my peers in sourcing set pieces, modifying props, and laying out the final image. Laying out each piece by Knolling, where multiple objects can be creatively displayed at once, I went for a clean, big-picture look. Because Full Sail's audio arts programs cover a wide variety focus, I wanted to include everything from instruments to the technology used to capture and manipulate sound. The final image is meant as a knowing nod to those who are passionate about their craft, regardless of speciality.
