Slinky Package Re-Design

Slinky Packaging
A little update and re-design
For my redesign of the Slinky packaging, I wanted to keep the package very simple and resemble the form of a Slinky. I started with updating the identity and basing letterforms off of the shape and form of the Slinky.

The current packaging is a brightly colored chipboard box just large enough to hold the slinky and is then discarded after purchase. The new packaging puts the product inside of a steel tin, which is both reusable and keeps the slinky protected from tangling on itself or being crushed.

The graphics on the outside of the package would ideally be printed directly on the metal and keep the reflectivity of the steel while maintaining the crisp lines of the vector images.
