Leave-Behind (Personal Brand)

Leave-Behind

Given as a small gift (some may even consider it a bribe), this leave-behind helps an employer remember an interviewee's graphic design work. To match my personal brand and stay culturally relevant, a subscription-box-style leave-behind was chosen. The colors of the leave-behind are unified with the personal brand. Inside, organic elements as well as non-organic elements are included to represent both the corporate, serif "m" of the logo and the natural, green leaves next to the "m."

After narrowing down an idea from sketches and a Pinterest board, various elements were pulled together to fully create a leave-behind in the form of a mock subscription box.
(Elements include: cardboard mailer box, wooden push pins, twig pencils, antiqued office supplies, mini sketchbook, and scrunched paper.) A paper/mini-portfolio insert was also to be included in the leave-behind, as well as a paper wrap around the outside of the box.
In the beginning stages of every project, a Pinterest board is created to inspire ideas. For the leave-behind, photos were gathered from pins related to my personal brand mood board.
