WAGAMAMA ANNUAL REPORT
BRIEF OUTLINE:
This brief entailed sourcing and re-designing an existing company's annual report, also adding interactive elements allowing for online 'ebook' viewing.
After looking into various companies, I decided to go with 'Wagamama' as their original annual report was purely text and extremely boring to read.
INITIAL RESEARCH:
Through research I discovered:
- Wagamama’s philosophy is ‘kaizen’ which means good change.
- The company believes in fresh, lively food with a soul.
- It provides its customers with staple modern Asian cuisine.
- Wagamama presents a unique way of eating in a fast-paced environment.
- Wagamama is caring and passionate about the quality of the food they provide; which is mirrored in their branding and tone of voice.
- The company has mindfulness at its heart and focuses on community shown through the layout of the restaurants.
These aspects and tone of voice of the company is something that I wanted to emphasise in my design of the report.
INSPIRATION:
My inspiration came from looking at existing successful annual reports and DPS layouts.

After producing my initial designs, I took forwards my favourite elements and developed further. Producing half size specifications and final full size specifications of my designs to grids, on paper.
