West Mountain Shelter. Located Rockland New York. A little information about the shelter itself. From reading hikers blogs they say this one has a really good water source . Which is ideal for when you spend a night here. Along with a view of the Manhattan Skyline. 

For this logo I know I wanted to include the Manhattan skyline. I tried incorporating the skyline in the mountains. But the idea did not come together. I then realized still some hikers use compass. So I took the needle and added the skyline up top. I added a dark and light blue to represent the night sky. And then if your lucky enough to see the stars or the constellations. You could see Cassiopeia which is shaped like a W. And it also means west.
