La madriguera "the burrow" is an old house in Mexico city that is used as a theatrical space in which some companies can present their work and do rehersals.
We wanted to present a duality, the left side being more "artistic", spontaneous and cryptic, this is an underground space that doesn't want to be mainstream but to remain just for a selected group of people that are really interested. The right one presents a more conventional face, it also refers to the burrow by joining the serifs and having a vertical arrangement.
sketches for the logo, we explored many ways of representing the burrow: the entrance of it, the side view, with the animals that live there. We also wanted to convey a feeling of spontaneity, uniqueness, movement and "artsyness"
all the print applications were made with the rectangle square root of 9, that is, a proportion of 3 to 1, we chose this long format because we wanted to convey that sense of burrow in the way it brings you down as you read it.
