AMORPH
Non-photorealistic rendering explorations
PROCESS

The Objects were created and animated in Cinema 4D. For the objects fill and shadow a cel shader was used. The outlines are sketch and toon strokes. I rendered out black and white images for each shade so that I could use them as masks for dot patterns and to generate outlines for each shade of the shadows and the specular highlight in After Effects.
Typography, graphical elements and glitch effects were also added in Adobe After Effects.

While it's not the exact same technique I use, I'd like to thank Tieh-Fei Yu for his amazing tutorial that pointed me in the right direction.

The audio loops were downloaded from freesound.org and are in the public domain.
