I’ve been painting portraits for a few years now, so I thought it would be fun to revisit one of my earlier paintings and attempt to paint her again. I made sure I didn’t refer to the original, which was created in 2017, so the new one wasn’t influenced by choices I made back then.

Its been interesting seeing how my style and technique have developed over the past two years. I think my work is cleaner and more balanced now although I can can still see lots of room for improvement, but that’s what being an artists is all about.
