This object is part of a personal manifesto about get the maximum potential of simple materials and shapes through a complex appreciation of them.

En México algo que tenemos muy arraigado dentro del contexto es la lucha por siempre optimizar recursos, hacer más con lo menos posible, resolver las cosas de la forma más sencilla y práctica. Dentro del contexto, utilizamos objetos que cumplen con funciones básicas para múltiples usos, dotándolo de una funcionalidad creativa sin igual. A partir de esta reflexión y dentro de la constante búsqueda por generar objetos utilitarios a través de la exploración más básica de los materiales y sus configuraciones primitivas, surge Perico, un stand multifuncional realizado en una sola pieza de cuero, el cual considero el objeto más sencillo que he diseñado a la fecha, aunque no por eso el menos funcional. Este objeto forma parte de un manifesto personal acerca de obtener el máximo potencial de siluetas y materiales simples a través de una apreciación compleja de los mismos.
El objeto es así un manifesto acerca de configuración desde un enfoque de factibilidad. Obtener más utilidad, funcionalidad y sencillez a partir de formas y exploraciones sumamente sencillas.
