Saola
A project with @dominiquebyron to create illustrations based around the same colour scheme and prompt. We’ve kept it as an endangered animal this time after we did a Sea Turtle together a few years ago... weird coincidence where we both ended up with a similar composition this time!
Saola are extremely rare, having never been observed in the wild- only in captivity. They’re also known as the “Asian Unicorn” around their Vietnamese habitat. This is why I chose to view it from behind- as if it is escaping our view into the darkness.
