miniature hiking and camping gear created entirely of paper and good ol' Elmers.  created as a wedding gift for my cousin to celebrate his proposal at Havasupai Falls. 

started with just the backpack and snowballed from there.  made as a homage to the #gear photos seen in ubiquity on the social meeds

the background is 3D layered paper that is an approximation of the actual topography of Havasupai Falls, each layer is a made from cereal boxes. 

some items did not make the final product such as the sleeping bag, that just like IRL backpacking, never seems to fit.

the wine glasses were made using a plastic straw and then the bottom is a sliver of a hot glue stick.  the metal rings that sit below that hover over the geographic location of the falls.  

the final product resulted in tears from the groom upon receipt and matching ones from me when I realized I never took proper photos of the final product.
