Girl Power Sticker Set

Girl Power Sticker Set
The past two weeks I have been working on a set of stickers. I wanted to create three stickers that all looked like they belonged together, that people could use in a fun way on their water bottles, laptops, cars etc. to show something they believe in. For this, I decided to do a sticker set that was “girl power” or feminist themed. I decided to make my audience young females who are entering the work force.
I started out with brainstorming and sketches. I did this by listing a bunch of different ideas of stickers I could do. I was considering a lot of different categories, so I started sketching many different things. I finally decided on the girl power theme because I liked that it could not only be fun, but also help people to show what they believe in, so I went into more detail with my sketches for that theme.
This was my first draft that I came up with for the designs I decided to pursue. Some feedback that I got on this draft was to add more detail to the hair on the first sticker, to fix the body proportions and face shape on the second sticker and add more detail to the crystal ball on the third sticker. Things I did to fix this was add some variations of color and texture to the hair, I made the right leg longer on the second sticker as well as fixed the arms, torso, and head shape, and finally I added some blurred crescents, dots and stars to the background of the crystal ball to help it stand out more.
These are the final stickers I designed. I think they give off a great message that you can tell through the different icons and words I used. I showed each sticker to a bunch of different people, and everyone was able to tell what each one was and what each one stood for. Because of that, I think I was able to accomplish my objectives of giving women an opportunity to use a fun sticker on their water bottle, laptop etc. to also show they believe in women empowerment.
