International Women's Day 2019

The letter W illustrated in three different ways in response to Salute Women's International Women's Day challenge.

I wanted to illustrate women coming together, building each other up, and the love there is between us. 

For the hands, I started by finding reference images, both online and photos of my own hands, that resembled the ideas I wanted to show. Then I used Adobe Illustrator in order to create the drawings, using the pen tool to create the shapes and details.

The middle image uses typography in an illustrative way and can be interpreted as a W, boobs, or a heart.
