Design summary
This is my first time using the Adobe illustrator program. My first time attempt was done for the course, making visual media, that I am currently studying for my first trimester at Griffith University. The class is being run based on the Flipped learning technique, which requires weekly tasks for us to complete before class begins, based on our own learning techniques and strategies. the idea was to use the skills we learned in the week one workshop and apply them to create a clip art like avatar, with using ourselves as the person the avatar is based on. by using the basic starter tools of the illustrator program such as; the pen tool, shape tool and the gradient tool. It allowed us to learn how to build from a foundation of shapes and how to layer them to create depth. The design brief below will give a further and more in-depth understanding of what the task required of us, and what the "clients" vision was and how the final product should be displayed.
