LIFE OF A DESIGN INTERN
I'm actually in the process of looking for a summer internship and thought it would be beneficial to document my personal experiences while being a design intern. These next few months will be rough, challenging, uplifting, and hopefully not full of coffee runs...
Sometimes it feels like I've put all my heart and soul and time into a project, just to see the end result be crushed by my co-workers or clients. It's hard to judge how much to sacrifice in order to create a good result, but from my experience so far it is better to try with your all and fail then half-ass it and succeed.

When brainstorming for a new client it is easy to get overly pumped up about the first great idea you think about. However, your judgement can get dlouded pretty fast when dwelling on one idea. Stop yourself, put the first idea to the side, and look for inspiration in other areas. Even if you don't find something better, you'll still be better for it.
