'The Nutcracker' Ballet Backdrops (2018)
These stills are taken from the final renders for the backdrop of The Nutcracker, performed in December 2018, at Stormen Konserthus, Bodø, Norway.
My role with the theatre was to design, model, and render the backdrops that were to be used in the final scenes. The scenes I worked on included a mansion exterior, interior, attic and finally a grand ballroom.
The Backdrops were created over the course of about 3 weeks; with a majority of the assets being modelled in Blender, with materials made in Substance Painter, and finally rendered out in RedShift.
