In this piece, I addressed the feeling of novelty and hesitation in front of a blank canvas which I faced while working on this painting, the first one last semester and the first one after a long break. I am making the lighting one of the main subjects of the painting by contrasting the warm light of the lamps with cold blue light from the canvas.
