A few facts:
"Bauhaus", officially "Staatliches Bauhaus", was a German Art School founded by Walter Gropius. It was founded with the idea of creating a "total" work of art in which all arts, including architecture, would eventually be brought together.

The typical Bauhaus style became more and more famous as time passed by, until it became one of the most influential currents in modern design, modernist architecture and art, design and architectural education.

It also had an essential influence upon subsequent developments in art, architecture, graphic design, interior design, industrial design and typography. The school existed in three cities in Germany: Weimar (1919 - 1925), Dessau (1925 - 1932) and Berlin (1932 - 1933).

I recently discovered the Bauhaus aesthetics, after some research I learned that one of my favourite types, Futura, was developed in that time (by Paul Renner). All in all I felt really inspired. Then, the following happened. :)
