This is a small illustrative project for the landing of the Ruby developers conference. The theme of the illustrations implied the main question of the conference: is ruby dead? The others illustrated such pages as: meet our glorious partners and amazing speakers, join us.
First I did a rough sketch to find and present the idea, then I do the final sketches and finish the illustration completely in vector form. It was also decided to use two main colors of the landing page - red and black.
