The View From Here
Since moving to the city of Seattle a little less than a year ago, I have visited four consistent 'look out' locations often to take landscape photos. I'm lucky to live in the upper Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, which is perched on Seattle's highest hill. This ongoing project has built up a fairly large collection of photos over time and will most likely inspire my next Blurb book project (my first project can be found here: So Far Seattle). When I shoot these landscapes I'm looking for periods of inclement weather and dramatic light in hopes of capturing the sheer complexity and beauty that makes Seattle so visually impressive to many. You can find many more of my shots here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jhsindesign/
