The Heartifical EP Vol. 2 (Album, Marketing, Identity)

The Heartificial EP Vol. 2 - the long awaited sequel, vested in power and passion.
Riffing off the first volume's lighter album art, this one's noticeably darker, intentionally so, to reflect how things have changed since 2015.
Since the latest graphical update to the logo includes making it's red sections glow, I extended that idea into pseudo-neon text and bordering.
Let's move on to the cover art.
The cover art actually holds a "secret" - they can be put into an order of sorts to represent the "spectrum of love."
With a teal/cyan representing the sky, the cloud texture appropriately depicts where my heads at, thematically.
A sweet cotton candy pink to match that beautiful dress; it's all accentuated by the random piece of tape, trying to keep things together... as am I.
A bright orange + a motion blurred alarm clock time gives the listener/viewer what they need for awareness.
The surge of energy continues with this fun, flirtatious jolt of purple. The lightning on the side represents that potential spark between two individuals.
Returning to a more subdued, sadder blue lends itself to including a baby pink heart rate that ties into the song's themes of nervously iterating on feeling's previous had for exes.
Now this hot cherry red brings along a literal fire, as we navigate exes under the specific lens of "friends with benefits." Flings are interesting, but watch out for conflicts of interest.
This sophisticated hue of yellow almost feels like gold alongside the refreshing water. You can practically hear the pounding House music in the back.
Adorned with roses and representing yet another peak in positive attitude, this familiar shade of white is inviting.
As the last song on the project, this tropical green gives off a bittersweet sort of joy. I'll admit, rendering that palm tree was quite fun.
Leading up to the project's release, I dropped a frenzy of bars in a freeverse called "heart." Similarly, after the project's release, I dropped another freeverse called "apart."
Now on to the social media assets.
This banner was used on SoundCloud, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. It's always fun showing all the features.
There were a number of "stories" prepared for Instagram and Snapchat. This main one was used when the project dropped and was made to evoke the album art.
Similarly, the other stories bothered the colors from the album art. The minimalist ones are still my favorite.
These two pieces were actually used pre-drop, with the general notion that the given date was a "date," of the romantic variety, of course.
The BandCamp advertisement is seamless-esque and clean. Still feels right.
Thanks for checking this out + listening.
