Anthony Amaral, the owner of Pocket Aces Construction, is also a real estate broker in Toronto, Ontario. He came back in search of a new brand identity that would complement his existing construction company.

With this brand identity, we wanted the logo to be almost the same as the Pocket Aces Construction logo, but with some slight differences. With the original branding, it’s meant to emulate a standard playing card design. You can see this with the 2 suits being spades and clubs on the card silhouettes in the logo. The idea was to use the 2 other suits (hearts and diamonds) to be the starting point for the design, notably in terms of colour. For colours and the overall design, having the playing card red with an additional gold gradient on the outline of the card silhouettes was a nice finish for the design.
