Vapen är en central del av spelet Destiny och viktigt för spelarna, de har sina ”weapon of choice”. Vapnen i spelet signalerar vilken nivå spelaren är på, det fungerar som en statussymbol och spelaren har därför en emotionell koppling till dessa. Vi har skapat en hommage till några utvalda vapen, från de gamla trotjänarna till de nya ”exotiska” i Destiny 2. Vi har inspirerats av pop-konst med djärva färger och stiliserade former och det hantverksmässiga i screentryck. På detta sätt har vi tagit ut fem vapen ur sitt sammanhang för att skapa en kontrast mellan den digitala spelvärlden, det visuella och det taktila.

Weapons are an essential part of the game Destiny and important for the players, they have their "weapon of choice". The weapons in the game indicates what level the player is on, they act as a status symbol and the player therefore has an emotional connection to them. We have created an homage to a few select weapons from the old faithful servants to the new "exotic" Destiny 2. We have been inspired by pop art with bold colours and stylised forms and the craft of screen printing. In this way, we have taken five weapons out of context to create a contrast between the digital game world, the visual and the tactile.
