Le requin est une espèce menacée par les activités humaines : finning, pollution... De plus il n'est pas très aimé du public, qui ne s'alarme pas de sa mise en danger. Pour inciter ce dernier à protéger le requin, Nausicaá (Centre National de la Mer à Boulogne-sur-Mer, France) veut mettre en place une campagne pour leur sauvegarde. J'ai donc créé une identité visuelle, un site internet et des illustrations pour ce projet fictif. J'ai choisi de travailler sur 7 requins en particulier : le requin-scie, le requin-taureau, le requin-crocodile, le requin-chat, le requin-citron, le requin-lanterne et le requin-marteau (de haut en bas).

The shark is an endangered species because of human activities : finning, pollution... Moreover he isn't very appreciated by the public, who isn't worried by the fact that sharks are at risk. To encourage people to protect them, Nausicaá (National Centre of the Sea in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France) wants to launch a conservation campaign. Thus I created a visual identity, a website and illustrations for this fictional project. I chose to work on 7 sharks specifically : the sawshark, the sand tiger shark, the crocodile shark, the catshark, the lemon shark, the lanternshark and the hammershark (from top to bottom).

La campagne s'intitule Nom d'un Requin ! et est destinée au grand public. Le but est de montrer la grande diversité des espèces de requins et de déconstruire les clichés autour de ces animaux de manière ludique, tout en rappelant pourquoi il est important de le protéger. Le site internet se présente sous forme de jeu, avec des jeux de mots sur le nom des requins : par exemple, le requin-chat est au début un requin qui a littéralement une tête de chat.

The campaign is called Nom d'un Requin ! and is targeted to the general public. The main goal is to show the wide diversity of shark species and to deconstruct the myths revolving around these animals in a playful way, while showing why it is so important to protect them. The website is displayed as a game, with puns on the sharks' name : for example, the catshark that you can see in the beginning is a shark who has literally the head of a cat.
