Urban Conformity

'Urban Conformity' is an observation of buildings across London that feature a number of similarities. Within this project, the work of architects Norman Foster and Ken Shuttleworth's most iconic London structures are critiqued for their distinct similarities; 30 St Mary Axe and City Hall oppose one another across the River Thames. Not only are their locations mirrored across the water, as are the patterns and materials used within their stuctures; this project highlights this through a variation of compositions. In addition, the influence of architectural firm Foster and Partners is aplified through this series of images.
