Strombolis // Fashion Branding

In the north of Sicily are located the Aeolian Islands. An archipelago with an evocative name, of which Eolo, the god of the wind, made it his home. Earth, water, wind and fire: all the elements come together in this microcosm of beaches, volcanoes and remote villages, a mixture of wild nature and a haven for rich and famous people. The most famous of the Eolian rosaries is called Stromboli, the island of the active volcano. And this gave the name, in 1950, to the film directed by Roberto Rossellini.

During the fascist period of Benito Mussolini, and aware of its political and social importance, cinema became a vehicle for advertising and the dissemination of the regime. Instead, the films were born in the streets, and opted, contrary to the large sets, for simplicity and naturalism. As Roberto Rossellini said once, Neorealism constituted "a moral position from which the world could be contemplated." Therefore, we must be aware that in order that we can break with tradition we must return to it. The classic as synonymous with moral reaction to the values of an era, but also of freedom and security. Of elegance. From all this, and constantly working to redefine the way we dress, our company is born. A traditional company, specialized in making bow ties based on Italian Neorealism.
