BIRDHOUSE FOR LE CORBUSIER
Bird House inspired by the 5 points of design, by Le Corbusier.
The free floor, the garden terrace, the pilotis, the longitudinal window, and the free facade. -
1. The free floor is important and, for him, this level belonged to the car, which is why the house was elevated on pilotis.
2. The terrace-garden refers to the last floor. As the land is occupying a natural area, it is necessary to return the green area on the terrace.
3. The pilotis refer to the structure, which makes it possible for the house to be elevated from the basal level. In this way, it is possible to take advantage of the useful surfaces, freeing the plant from structural constraints.
4. The longitudinal window is another important point, since, when creating it, the outer walls are released. In this way, the windows can extend to the whole width of the construction, thus improving the relationship with the exterior.
5. The free facade complements the longitudinal windows. The pillars are delayed with respect to the facade, to free it from its structural function.
