About the Wine
Ktima Paliomilos, is a small winery, located in Mirsini, Peloponnese. The owner, decided to built his winery next to the village's old watermill ruins, which belonged to his wife’s family.
Cabernet - Sauvignon Merlot
With respect to the old traditional wine technique we have produced a dry red wine which harmonically blends Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot. The combnation of aromas of vanilla, (dried) fig and plum as well as its rich taste are in perfect match with its deep ruby colour and its velvet texture. Its 12 month ageing in wooden oak barrels tames its strong tannins. It ideally accompanies red meet, game dishes and pasta dishes with red sauces. Wine that can be left to mature (in your cellar).
The brand changed its name and cork colour during 2016.
