CUSTOM BAR: Shop Drawings
I have been designing a custom bar for a good friend of mine. He wanted something that looked natural and kind of rustic, but modern and sleek at the same time.
Another friend of mine, who helped me with fabrication, had a few timbers of Douglas Fir that he salvaged from an old factory in Olde City Philadelphia, and he was happy to finally have a project to use them on.
These are the initial drawings and design I had come up with for the client.
It will have plywood inner cabinets with slats of Douglas Fir, at varying thicknesses, for the facade. The countertops will be a Douglas Fir frame with concrete poured into them.

Some changes had to be made to the layout because the client moved to a new house, but here is the install.
