This artwork was designed for my mashup/mix of the 70's soul and funk band Gregory James and one of the first R&B artists my ears heard as a youngin, Brandy.
My objective with the cover art was to show how the mashup ‘sounded through colours’.
The bright and saturated tones reflect the stimulating chorus and disco grooves whereas the deeper, understated hues match Brandy's mellow lower-register vocals during the verses.
