This upcycled long coat is hand-made by repurposing old sweaters and a traditional Kashmiri garment called a pheran. For the coat's body, an old pheran was repurposed and enhanced with patches of handwoven fabric. This fabric was woven using yarn unraveled from old sweaters, adding a distinct texture and character. The coat features sleeves and pockets sourced directly from old sweaters, preserving their original charm. Additionally, a crochet collar and placket were crafted using repurposed yarn, giving the coat a personalized and eco-friendly touch.
