Pies & Shine is a concept for the a food truck that is based on the retro, 50's American diner style. The truck would serve a variety of food, including breakfast food, pies, and breakfast pies! The idea came out of the old cartoon trope of leaving a pie out on a window sill to cool. At Pies & Shine, customers order from a window on the side like a traditional food truck, but they will be directed to the back of the truck when their food is ready for pickup. There, they would find their food sitting on the window sill waiting for them.
